Hi, my cpu is getting old and if the games wil get that new denuvo+VM protect, i think it won't last very much with so much stress, so i need a cpu capable of taking the high stress of this new protection. What would you suggest? new coffeelake is worth or the glorious 7700k?
Well still my monitor is 60hz 1920x1080 bu would take in account to elevate my gaming experience with 2k or 4k.

Open world RPGS like assassin's creed origins and the witcher 3, some point and click adventures, some shoot'em up like fortnite. Budget for cpu within 300 euro, but i will also need to change mobo and ram to ddr4, and ram i know cost a lot:S, stupid miners-.-.

Oh forgot an important thing, my case is still old style, the psu is on the top, so as i need to change stuff, is better i change also my old case, a chieftech lcx-01b-b-sl.
What case is good to put the stuff in for optimal airflow?

That looks amazing! last question: i saw i5 8600k costs less than 7700k and has less cores? why is that? shoudn't i5 8600k cost more and be better?

More cores doesn't necessarily mean, better performance, if that was how it worked then people would go for the ryzen 7 1700 which has 8 cores!
Games will only use 4 cores while the other cores will be resting. If you are multitasking, say streaming and gaming and recording at the same time then more cores is important so that with 4 cores you can run your game and stream or record with the other cores. If you are just going to game get the 7700k but if you are going to multitask get the 8600k.

In this video you can see that the 7700k does better in games very slightly this is because it has a higher CPU frequency of 4.5Ghz. The 8600k goes up to 4.3GHz.

Yes, my brother make streams often, so i will get the 8600k instead
