Question What CPU will go to my setup? Need advice.

Hello.

I have a budget gamer, where I want to upgrade my CPU after upgrading my GPU.
I upgradet the GPU to a Asus Geforce GTX 1660 Phoenix OC 6GB and the rest of my setup is:

CPU: i5-3570K @ 3,4ghz
Motherboard: Asus P8H61-I R2.0
Ram: Kingston 16GB 2133hz
PSU: TS 550W

I only want to upgrade my CPU and Motherboard at the moment, motherboard must be MICRO or MINI-ATX.
I am on a budget, so around 300$ (260 euro or 240 pounds)

Games to play:
CS: GO, PUBG, FIFA, Rocket League, Arma 3 and so on. Maybe som newer titles would be great.

Is it possible to find a decent CPU to upgrade to that have some future in it?

Good pick, however I would try and scrape some more cash to get a ryzen 2600 - the 1600 is great for the price, but it doesn't clock very high nor is its cooler good for overclocking.

Could go with upgrading the RAM as well, when its DDR4.

Im not really into OC anymore, been there, done that, not I just want the thing to run.

Seems like there is something to get when the Motherboard is used, any pros/cons on this, other then the state of the item?
