What display to chose ?

here is my rig; i7 4770k, 8gb ddr3 ram, gtx 970 4gb, 750 watt PSU, 2tb HDD, windows 10.

I want to up guard my monitor and I don't know what do I chose, a monitor or a TV a 60hz or 120 Hz for playing games and watching movies

P.S: I'm not interested in multiplayer games and playing competitivity the only games I play online are heartsone and GTA V.
