What do i do after a Hard drive clone onto a ssd

I have cloned my hard drives contents exactly onto my ssd but i dont know what comes after because i need more space

Does the system work with only the SSD, after this clone operation?
How, specifically, did you test this?

And please give us a full description of your drives, and what OS this is.

Switch PC off.
Take out HDD & replace with SSD.
Boot in to BIOS.
Ensure SSD is first boot device.
Save & Exit BIOS and system should boot in to Windows from SSD.
