using a new motherboard will invalidate your current install. you will have to contact Microsoft afterwards and explain the situation so they "re-register" a new serial for your new setup.
i always find it better to perform a fresh install when using a new motherboard. there are just too many possible driver conflicts and it can be difficult to actually remove all currently installed chipset and hardware drivers.
