What do I need to download pictures from my camera

I'm trying to download pictures from my camera chip to my computer, but it doesn't give me any options? What do I need to download?

I'm trying to download pictures from my camera chip to my computer, but it doesn't give me any options? What do I need to download?

Different Camera Mfg's - different solutions. I for one, just plug my camera into a USB port, and the pictures upload to the hard drive. However; there was a setting in the camera menu that had to be set for USB, first.
Suggest (if you don't have one) to download a user manual for your Camera.
