Question What do I need to upgrade to get better internet speeds?

I recently got spectrum, we moved to a city that only has a handful of internet providers. They gave us the modem and router, it works okay but we have 10 plus people in our home so when everyone is home it slows down, even sometimes when im gaming at night it is laggy. The installer told me to get a mesh router in order to get better range, other forums say that I need to move my box but my box is in the upstairs corner. Also I read that I need a new router or I need to upgrade my spectrum internet but I have the internet plan under the highest one they have. Each option seems costly so I wanted to know what the community thinks/has had experience with. thank you. Right now my ping is 13ms my download is 96mbps and my upload is 0.20 mbps.

First thing you want to make sure is if you're getting all of your plan speeds. .2 upload sounds wrong. What is your plan supposed to be?
