Currently:

Processor: Intel Core i7-4770 CPU @ 3.40GHz

Ram: 8 gb

Graphics: Here's where i'm not sure.. ****Need help here***
The sticker on the side of the pc says AMD Radeon HD 8570 2 GB

But when I look at my system settings it says R7 200 series.. ( thought those were different??)

Power supply: is an "FSP 300W"?

Motherboard (is that "system model?") is Aspire TC-605

for example Battlefield 4 runs on medium |@ 60 fps i beleive.
Cs:go runs smooth
I have about 20 newish games on my pc and ive been able to tweak all of them to run smooth.

I am looking for a new video card shortly (in about 2 months) but i want to play some new games (Specifically the new DOOM) in the meantime.
But surely to upgrade my video card I while need to get a stronger PSU (right?) (nbd they arent too expensive though)

So do you think my processor is strong enough for the next like 3 years of gaming, and my motherboard?

Get an EVGA G2 power supply, 550W will do and get a R9 380, that's gonna be a really big upgrade.
R9 380 is more than twice as powerful as your current GPU.
EVGA G2 is the highest quality PSU and you won't have to worry.

Would it be bad idea to get a power supply of 1000+ watts? I found a good price on EVGA G2 1150Watts. And what about waiting for the new/next gen GPU's coming in the next few motnhs?4

The 1150 watts PSU is way overkill if you're able to run it @ 300W. I don't think that will be necessary unless you plan on scrapping everything besides the PSU and then building a monster.

Why don't you just get a 750W Bronze PSU for 65 bucks off Amazon, and get yourself a nice gtx 970 (used) on ebay for $230, and save yourself some lunch money?

a used one? I'm a bit sketched out about that. I think I'd only buy a used one off someone i know.

My case has a lot of room for a big gpu so thats not to worry. But doesn't the gpu have to be compatible with the motherboard? (maybe not someone correct me please!)

I think the AMD 380x 4gb or 390 4gb is what i will go with and save a little money.

When are the new model graphic cards coming out by the way? I heard now or in a few weeks/months is a good time to buy.

Can anyone give their opinion on the quality of a PSU. Should I buy a Gold-level for the extra ~60$ish? How is gold-level that much better than bronze?
thanks guys

(Facepalm)
There will not be compatibility issue. The GTX1070 will be over $350 as it comes out.
