Basically like the title says, i had few issues with the GPU, i unplugged everything, took out CPU, GPU, power connections to motherboard, CMOS and the HDD.

I put everything back and now everytime i turn on the PC, after i get screen, my headphones start humming. I tried 3 different ones, 2 new and the old headset, all of them have the same issue.

As soon as i put the GREEN jack in, regardless if its the front or back audio ports, it starts humming. Also even if i wanted to just use the mic, the pink one, it doesnt pick up anything.

Before this ive never had this type of issue for over 5 years.

Any help would be appreciated :)

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. Please list the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
Headphone(s):
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

You might want to see if reinstalling your audio drivers help. Though I'd also see if your front panel audio is properly hooked to the motherboard.

Moved thread from Components section to Systems section.

Ryzen 7 5800X
Its a really good cooler but i forgot the name, CPU is always cold.

Apologies for not posting the full specs.

I tried deleting the old drivers, updating them, nothing worked. I tried both the front and back audio panel, its the same. The front usb panel works which is on the same chip but not the audio.

If it wasn't there before, maybe a wire is touching something that it shouldn't. Although if the mic input isn't working at all, maybe some aspect of the audio system was damaged when you were taking apart your PC.

You could get an external USB audio interface/DAC/sound card to be free from internal signal interference. There are pretty cheap ones out there that should work just fine.

How do i improve or fix this?
Analog audio is always susceptible to interference.
As ThereAndBackAgain suggested, there are many inexpensive USB Digital to Analog Converter (DAC) options available.
For example, even starting as low as $10:
UGREEN USB to 3.5mm Jack Audio Adapter USB Sound Card

This USB to TRRS combination, can provide all that is needed for a headset using a
combination jack:

If you need separate connections..

An adapter as shown above is also available:
UGREEN Headphone Splitter 3.5mm 2 Female to 1 Male Mic and Audio Y Splitter TRRS Headset Adapter Cable

On the other hand, if you would rather have something more feature rich for your desktop, one could step up to something like the JDS Labs - Atom DAC 2 (line level outputs only) and pair it with a separate microphone, such as the Antlion Modmic Uni 2 or some other USB microphone.

Here's a sweet little convenient all-in-one solution called the Fulla by Schiit Audio
