you could do alot better, dont go crossfire and get a R390 would be a better choice. from the looks you can get better parts for your budget.

post your budget and country and someone will make a far better build.

You can do better.

1. For gaming, use a single good card instead of starting with dual cards.
a. not all games support dual gpu well, or even at all.
b. You will be more prone to stuttering, screen tearing, or inconsistent performance.
c. Your motherboard and psu costs will be less with a single card.
d. Your case cooling issues will be less with a single card.
e. Starting with two slower cards will preclude a simple graphics upgrade in the future.

2. Use a simple air cooler.

My canned rant on liquid cooling:
------------------------start of rant-------------------
You buy a liquid cooler to be able to extract an extra multiplier or two out of your OC.
How much do you really need?
I do not much like all in one liquid coolers when a good air cooler like a Noctua NH-D15 or phanteks can do the job just as well.
A liquid cooler will be expensive, noisy, less reliable, and will not cool any better
in a well ventilated case.
Liquid cooling is really air cooling, it just puts the heat exchange in a different place.
The orientation of the radiator will cause a problem.
If you orient it to take in cool air from the outside, you will cool the cpu better, but the hot air then circulates inside the case heating up the graphics card and motherboard.
If you orient it to exhaust(which I think is better) , then your cpu cooling will be less effective because it uses pre heated case air.
And... I have read too many tales of woe when a liquid cooler leaks.
google "H100 leak"
-----------------------end of rant--------------------------

Your pc will be quieter, more reliable, and will be cooled equally well with a decent air cooler.

I've done more research into the 280x's and almost all of the games I play will be better off if I go with them in SLI, because I'm going to spend $500 and that's my GPU done for three years, after that I'll buy another MOBO, cpu and GPU.

Try this.

H100i's do not leak much either lol. It moves he heat exchange because it puts it pushing the heat upwards and physics will tell you that heat moves upwards therefore moving the air out of the case faster allowing to cool other internal components alot better.

you can change the case to what you like.

get an i7 and simple cooler is better then an i5 with an expensive cooler. keep in mind that the i5 is 3.5hgz while the i7 is 4ghz stock and overclocks to 4.5 very easily. ends up being 50$ more but well worth it.

plus this build is rocking a 980 graphic card too 😉

edit: you can overclock the cpu and gpu, but this bad boy wont be needing.

Is there anything wrong with the mobo I picked?

make sure you have a high enough power supply to run them, get an evga b2 or g2 750/850w. but i wouldnt recommend going sli at first, rather get a strong single card.

My friend offered to give me his MSI GTX 970, so I was thinking I would buy another one and SLI them.

No, I just put this as a themed build with a black and white color of... Everything. I do admit the krait is a great board though.
