Seems to be ok it's really hit and miss with a mobo as long as it works you'll be fine. Listing the rest of your specs may help the community give you opinions/options.

good board, but make sure it supports your cpu.
Updating bios is a pain in the asshole!

For a high-end cpu i would suggest Asus MAXIMUS VII RANGER to keep price down.

Z97 chipset boards usually have no issues with CPU compatibility - they "should" all support the latest versions of Intels chips. Depending what you have planned for the your PC there are plenty of cheaper boards that perform just as fast.
