Fwiw, whatever you choose now, there is likely a good chance you'll wish you waited a few months or so. This moment is about as far away from ideal to decide on a system as has been in some time. You have kaby lake being released soon, as well as zen. The 1050 is supposed to be coming soon also. But if you must upgrade now, disregard.
 


The purpose is to play games, The budget is $1200. I tried to find the best reviewed parts. I don't have a computer now.
