Discussion What do you think is the best sounding car of all time?

A Chevy 454 carbureted with Hooker headers, the old two chamber three inch Flowmaster mufflers and five inch tips. This is before Flowmaster switched to the 10, 40, &c. I don't know what the current equivalent is. The car doesn't matter so much as the engine and exhaust system. It had a slow deep rumble without being overly loud. I don't care as much for the modern sounding exhaust.

This is the closest I could find. Starts at about 1:30.

I am leaning toward the Mustang GT350R. I heard one ripping irl and its amazing.

A 1992 Honda Civic with a fart can and a wing (The wing makes it sound better). :D

But I will grant you Ford does an awesome job tuning their exhaust note to make it sound like the engine is gurgling down gas. Even after market Borla exhaust do much better.

I was never a fan of Ferrari high rev'ers. It's too high a pitch for my taste. "Theres no replacement for displacement"
