Question What do you think of these two laptops?

Hi friends

I'm looking for a 600€ laptop for home usage and I've found these two.

I don't know much about laptops, what do you think about these two options? They are quite similar regarding specs... a pal of mine told me that this i5 is better than the i7, I wonder if this is true.

When you say home usage, what sort of tasks will you be taxing the laptop with? A list of apps will help tailor the answer you're looking for.

I'd go for the i7 equipped laptop, since they both have the same storage and ram capacity, the same screen size. If it's going to be home all day, then the battery doesn't matter much since you have easy access to a wall outlet to plug and charge once the battery goes down to say 10%.
