Hello,

I'm going to be buying some parts for my desktop I will build myself. It will be mainly used for gaming and software such as ArcGIS Pro.

These are the components I have chosen so far. Can you please give me some feedback on them, and any other recommendations you may have. I'm trying to keep the price around $1600-1800 CAD. Right now its at 1640. I also don't have a CPU cooler, but was thinking of using the cooler master fan I have in my old system. Please tell me what you think. Thanks

Here are the components:

Corsair 5000D Airflow Tempered Glass Mid-Tower ATX PC Case, Black, CC-9011210-WW

MSI PRO X870-P WIFI AM5 AMD X870 SATA 6Gb/s ATX Motherboard

MSI Ventus GeForce RTX 4060 8GB GDDR6 PCI Express 4.0 x8 ATX Video Card RTX 4060 VENTUS 2X BLACK 8G OC

Seasonic FOCUS V3 GX-750, 750W 80+ Gold, ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 Ready, Full-Modular, Low Noise, Premium Japanese Capacitor, 10 Year Warranty

AMD Ryzen 5 7600X - Zen 4 6-Core 4.7 GHz - Socket AM5 - 105W Desktop Processor (100-100000593WOF)

G.SKILL Flare X5 Series AMD EXPO 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000 Desktop Memory Model F5-6000J3636F16GX2-FX5

Microsoft Windows 11 Home (USB)

I'm just quickly looking at your thread and will probably come back to give a better answer.

What I will quickly comment on though is I would try to maybe get a 4070 instead of the 4060 and get a lower end motherboard

Thank you for that build. What did you think of my build? Also is it necessary to buy the video card you suggested instead of the one I chose? Would the differences be huge? (Or would I not be able to play recent games with the one I chose?)
