What do you think of Zotac quality?

I found a refurbished GTX 1080 for 323$ on their website. Was about to buy a rx590 and just did a few more searches before making the purchase and found this. I've only had MSI Gaming series GPU's which are some of the best and it was nice not having to worry about quality.

Anyone have experience with this company? I see they have decent, but not near perfect reviews on newegg and other places.

I've had a couple or more of their cards (bought new) and experienced no less quality that I did with any other brand. It's more about getting a lemon or not... in any brand. Probably why the 1080 was returned/replaced and now is "fixed" and being resold.

Seems like an unusually low price, tho. Which one of these is it?

Skip the reference cards if you can other than that you should be fine with zotac

Nothing wrong with Zotac quality on NEW cards. For ANY brand, I'd avoid the refurbs. There is usually a reason they were returned, and it's not always because of something attributable to the user or the rest of the system. And when they get these cards back if it passes minimal testing, they ship them back out as refurbished. Used and refurbished both are crapshoots. Save yourself the headache, and get a full warranty, buy buying a new card. Just my opinion. I'm sure others have had some success.

Zotac 1080 amp for 329$, zotac amp extreme 1070 for 279$ and zotac 1070 amp for 249$.

I was literally about to buy the 590 when I found these. I have to look at some becnhamrks and see how much higher the 1080 is over the 1070.

The plans initially were to buy a 590, sell 2 of those games for 20$ each, sell the 480 for 70$, get division free. Basically pay 250 - 70 - 40 - 60 = 80$. Use this for 1 or 2 years until I upgrade to a 4k 60 or 70" led tv. Then sell the 590 for 100$ and buy whatever 300 to 400$ GPU.

A 1080 probably will be powerful enough to just use one card for next several years.
