Most of the parts I already own just need to CPU/Mobo/RAM I'm not sure if the motherboard is overkill for me but I do like to overclock and will probably add in a AIO Corsair before I order. Got a R9 290 but can't be sure if it works or not as I think my current PC has dead PCIE.

Already own the PSU and I agree with the motherboard although might aswell spend an extra £50-£90 on getting it right?

RAM is far to slow I'd be going for 4000mhz but I can't get 2x8GB and also the price to performance starts getting silly. The only other motherboard I was thinking about is the Asus Z170 Pro but I think for the extra money the Formula Oc is worth it. I was just wondering if anyone had anything to say mostly on the motherboard side of things and if their is better for the same money or less.

I'm not looking to save money but get more performance for the same price.
