Question What does "faulty gpu" mean?

Ok so I've just built a new PC. When I installed Driver Booster, I updated all the drivers. But next to my gpu it says "faulty" and I have no idea what that means. Everything works nice, but I'm just concerned about that faulty thing...

Quite probably the card is reporting that it's not got all 8pins connected.

Don't use any 3rd party driver utilities. Download the drivers from your motherboard vendor support site, same thing for the video drivers.

Listing specs of the system is also a good idea so we can check for any issues, especially with power.

Have you followed the link in the first reply, It's either flagging bad power, or the use of an adaptor has damaged the card.
