What does it mean if there is no chipset?

I'm looking to buy my first computer, and the computer im looking at (Asus X551CA), doesn't have a chipset, what does this mean?

the laptop uses intel inf driver there no updated 8.1 driver yet it under the 8.0 drivers.

Its the motherboard chipset

You may have to order the chipset yourself. Take a look at the mothboard photos. Don't forget to post them here!
