[SOLVED] What does it mean when the "EVGA" logo on the side goes from pulsing white to solid red for an "EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 10 GB XC3 ULTRA" card?

I've been having some issues with my system, and I've been updating this thread here, but I think I'll get a faster answer to this one question by posting this thread in the GPU section. So if we can figure this question out, then we can consider this thread resolved. I've tried to find a manual with an answer, but I've had no luck. This happens when the monitor considers the connection "no signal" (until I power cycle), but I am able to ping the machine (but the keyboard indicator lights will not come on when I press any of those keys).

Again I just want to know in this thread, what that red light is indicating.

I can't find anything on rgb showing error codes or anything.

it is odd there isn't even mention of the card on the manuals download page

The Kingpin card will light up it's RGB red when either a power plug is improperly plugged in (or not at all) or when it's getting insufficient power - I would assume that's something that applies to all 30-series GPUs that have RGB stuff on them

Seems like it does indicate a power issue, which kind of confirms what I was already thinking.

According to your other thread you have a EVGA BA 600w psu powering a 3080. That is an inadequate quality psu for that system, not surprised you are getting a power warning.
