What does SDRAM compatibility have to do with a SSD

Sorry, novice question. I am interested in purchasing a 2.5 inch type SSD that says it supports one module of DDR3 SDRAM. I thought the hard drive has nothing to do with the RAM. I have DDR4 ram in the computer I'm using. So, is it a DDR3 module relating directly to the SSD that they're talking about here or is the SSD trying to access my computer's RAM?

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but, I'm seriously not understanding compatibility and even more accurately, what is RAM compatibility on a SSD and how can I take advantage of it?
