If you are searching for RAM using both mobo and CPU QVL's you know how hard it is to get exact matches... While searching I looked up GSKILL's naming convention which is NICE, relatively easy to follow... Sometimes the last letter might be different then what you searched for, an ADDED A, B, or C. They say quote
"*If there is a "A", "B" or "C" as the third letter of the series, such as "TZB" or "RKB", then it typically designates a different CL timing value when compared to the original model without the "B" in the third letter."
What does this mean? and what are the timings of these modules? Any GSKILLer's out there?

It usually refers to the color.

Silver and blacK. Yeah, they use K for black...

BlacK and Orange.

Black and Yellow.

Sometimes it's completely omitted - I've no idea why.

Royal Silver.

Royal Gold.

The older Aegis kit seems to be simply using the last three letters of Aegis...

Thank you for responding. I was referring to The A B C's. From their support site they explain it as follows:
*If there is a "A", "B" or "C" as the third letter of the series, such as "TZB" or "RKB", then it typically designates a different CL timing value when compared to the original model without the "B" in the third letter."

It is not obvious... As there is one without a A,B, or C with timings or 16-18-18-39. The one with the letter C has the same timings listed in the listing. Makes no sense -- unless it is suppose to be pot-luck...

I've got this older 2016 quad channel Ripjaws V kit: F4-3466C16Q-16GVK (the letter is omitted)

The current 2019 Ripjaws V kit I'm using: F4-3600C16Q-32GVKC (it's there)

It has to be something they started doing recently.
This one's over my head, it seems.
