Question What does this sound indicate?

I bought a Seagate Backup plus slim 1 TB last year and it had no problems at all. But now I plug it on my computer and it does this beeping noise. The beeps always come in the same pattern every time I power it on.
The light also does not light up.
I think it is a power issue.
I tried different cables and computers.

No, I didn't drop it. It just at once when I tried using it that it started the noises.

i would make backups of any data on it that you care about.

I cannot access the drive. It is not recognized by windows but it shows up in the device manager.
I tried the tool. It recognizes the drive but can't do any test on it.

Then that drive is dead. Test it on another PC

If it does the same thing on different PCs and with different cables, the only thing missing is a quick funeral for it, and, of course, hoping it did not have anything on it you actually needed...

See if there is a warranty on it....perhaps you can get a replacement..

In case is the enclosure or a damaged USB port, you could try opening the case (no tools required), removing the drive and connecting it to a PC via SATA interface.
Or you could use a SATA to USB adapter.
