What firmware supports bandwidth control for the R7000?

Hello everyone.
I just purchased an R7000 and I am trying to do something and would love for the community to give me some advice.
I frequently have guests over my house whom ask me for the wifi password. Unfortunately, we only have speeds of 15/1. Is it possible to automatically give NEW connections a default speed of say 3/0.5 upon connecting (without having to change settings)?I don't mind manually configuring my own devices for highest speed and priorities.

Solution
If you get DD-WRT, try just enabling FQ_CODEL and set your up and down bandwidth about 10% lower than what you actually get. That may be all you need to do to split bandwidth and keep latency low.
I think dd-wrt will run on that router. You might be able to limit the default group to some lower value. The problem you are going to have with such a small connection is that the rates are averaged. It will still spike to higher values because of things like minimum packet sizes. It tends to be very hard to get good control when you are trying to divide up a 1m uplink connection. It is way 10m you would have a much better option. You still would need to set it much lower so that the peak rates do not hurt you. With a 1m connection you will have to set it so low it becomes almost unusable.
