So I was on a vacation. I knew it was going to be a boring one (in fact, it was worse than what I expected), so I decided to bring my potato notebook (with some games installed) to help me pass some time and to test how far can my potato go. Here's the short spec (please be kind and don't laugh at these):
Intel celeron 1019y 2core 1GHz 2MB cache
2GB DDR3
Integrated HD graphic
The games that I played were:
>CoD MW3 (720p, low, 34FPS avg.)
>Battlefield BC2 (800x600, low, 27FPS avg.)
>CoD WaW (720p, low, 28FPS avg.)
>Crysis 2 (hell no, I couldn't even get more than 11FPS)
>Fallout New Vegas (800x600, low, 46FPS avg.)
>Fallout 3 (1280x720, low, 34FPS avg. with some performance tweak)
>Crysis (1280x720,low, 31FPS avg.)
I understand that my notebook is definitely LOWER than the minimum SYSTEM REQUIREMENT of the games listed above, but I found out that it was still able to run those games at 'playable' framerate (some games were getting smoother after running for a couple of minutes). This sounds rather stupid , but I would like to ask your suggestion about any other similar games (similar requirement to be exact) that are good and are worth to try (I'm planning to get Farcry 1 and 2, borderlands, mass effect, and The witcher 2). Thanks.
