Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 4500M is the gpu, Video Memory
Up to 797MB which other sites say different things like 384 i think.

Is it possible to play any games with this. When I got the pc, It said it was capable of running Gears of War 1 (maybe on medium or low?)

But if the...
Try to download League of Legends. It's a free game and very nice. I believe your laptop can play it at 30FPS @ lowest settings. The graphics of League of Legends is still nice even at lowest settings. You should definitely give it a try. :)

Below is a list of great games from latest to older that will run on ur system atleast on the lowest settings. List includes all genres, so u may not like some of them. Some are also online multiplayer.

Portal 2
World of Warcraft: Cataclysm
World of Goo
World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King
Half-Life 2: Episode 2
World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade
Galactic Civilizations II: Dark Avatar
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
Half-Life 2
The Sims 2
Rome: Total War
Unreal Tournament 2004
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas
World of Warcraft
STAR WARS: KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC
Beyond Good & Evil
Call of Duty
Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne
PRINCE OF PERSIA: THE SANDS OF TIME
Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos
BATTLEFIELD 1942
GRAND THEFT AUTO: VICE CITY
NEVERWINTER NIGHTS
TOM CLANCY'S SPLINTER CELL
GRAND THEFT AUTO III
Medal of Honor Allied Assault
No One Lives Forever 2: A Spy in H.A.R.M.'s Way
BLACK & WHITE
HALO: COMBAT EVOLVED
MAX PAYNE
The Sims
Deus Ex
Baldur's Gate II: Shadows of Amn
System Shock 2
Planescape: Torment
Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri
Age of Empires II: The Age of Kings
Unreal Tournament

Grim Fandango

No Gears of War btw

Your video card/processor will never let you have any real fun. The gaming performance of the 4500M is not really good. Only less demanding 3D games and very old games may run fluently in low detail settings. Sims 3 and F.E.A.R. for example achieved 30 fps (with stutters) in low deatails and low resolustions (combined with a fast CPU) which yours is not very fast. 2D applications, games and Windows Vista / Windows 7 Aero are supported without any performance problems.

GAME BENCHMARKS FOR THE 4500M

Sims 3 (2009) low: 34 fps med.: 11.4 fps

Crysis - GPU Benchmark (2007) high: 3.5 fps

F.E.A.R. (2005) low: 28 40 ~ 34 fps med.: 12 15 ~ 14 fps high: 5 5 ~ 5 fps

World of Warcraft (2005) low: 15 29.4 30 ~ 25 fps med.: 6 9.9 21 ~ 12 fps high: 1 4 ~ 3 fps

Counter-Strike Source (2004) high: 23.6 fps

Quake 3 Arena - Timedemo (1999) high: 59.9 84.5

Would upgrading my processor help? I know i just cant pick any random one, so I guess I gotta research this..

a processor may improve performance, but not graphics, and graphic's lag is almost as bad as bad internet connection lag. I would suggest you to not put money in that system and just save it for a new PC. Your CPU and GPU are both, how shall I say this, crap! lol. To upgrde one without upgrading the other would be about pointless.

I would like to play Minecraft which doesnt require a Top Notch gpu only a cpu , I think a dual core would be fine for that, and i will save up tho

But if the CPU is too powerful for the weak GPU thn it will bottleneck the GPU and it still wont run good.
