Any of you fellows ever try "Iron Storm". It's a game where world war one never ended and it's 1963 and it's corporations trying to keep the fight going because it's good for business. FPS and not too shabby @ 9.95 US...I paid 29.95 and it was well woth it. I paid 49.95 for Hitman Contracts and can't stand it...

If it's true that guns kill people, then it's my keyboard's fault when I misspell wurds...

That was my biggest complaint, the sniper's can shoot through trees and rocks too...

I forget what i paid for Iron Storm but i've been playing it here and there and i like the game. Some spots get real hard and had to look at the walkthrough which i hate doing. But i had no choice.
Now im playing Will Rock which is pretty much a mindless shootem up that can be very repetitive

Yep...I thought the game was well worth the $$ I paid. And it wasn't just a walk in the park...the train drove me crazy fer a minnit...and that dang helicopter. Those dudes with the rocket launchers too...

Hardest part for me so far was where you had to sneak behind the guards in the prison camp. Now im stuck in some lab where you have to kill scientists without setting alarms

Right now I'm playing some Warcraft III, GTA: VC, and a little of... REALLY old school, Outpost 2. Anyone remember that game? So addicting... So addicting..

If you like Racing Sims and not just arcade racers, The GTR2002 Mod for F12002 is outstanding.

The Game is $10 in the bargain bins, and the mod of course is free. This is the first game that got me to stop playing Sports Car GT with it's endless add on cars and tracks. I just wish EA would take the time between NFS 7-10 to make a good Sports Car GT 2. I enjoy the Sims more than the Arcade racers.

You can get GTR2002 stuff here:
<A HREF="http://www.racesimulations.com/index.php?game=GTR2002" target="_new">http://www.racesimulations.com/index.php?game=GTR2002</A>

I like the GT's better than the F1 cars. I'd say 90% GTR2002/ 10% F1 2002 is how I have used that game.

Also, the Ferrari 360 Challenge add-on to GTR2002 is very good too. The game is realistic and difficult to master, so the 360's are easier for me than keeping the Beast of a Viper under control. Don't miss this game.

Holy cow, I'm out of the loop. Not only is simbin back in order, they are going to release a stand alone game. Best of all, there is a Demo. Haven't tried it, but here is a link. I will try the demo tonight.

Yo Paul,
I downloaded GTR Press demo 1 and during the installation it asks for a password???
What kind of demo is password protected????????
Please advise....

Nevermind,

I just found on the web where you are told to enter "GTR_Press_Demo" as the gay password???
Allrighty then......
I let you know how this beast plays..
Thanks..

It's not a demo originally intended for the public. It was leaked so they released it to the public. Oddly they left it with a password needed. Enter "GTR_Press_Demo" without the quotes as your password.

Also, once your controller is setup and you are driving, if your speed is limited after leaving the pits. Hit the RPM Limiter button. It maintains your speed in the pits so you don't get a pit flag. I forget what key it is because I set it to a button on the wheel, so check that before you race.

EDIT: the RPM Limiter is L by default. Hit L after leaving the pits or you'll hate the game for sure.

6.5 hours. Ouch. You will love cable. Our cable here could download that file in 2.5 minutes, although it depends on the download mirror. On 3Dgamers mirrors, I can usually find one that would do that file in 5-6 minutes. Downloads from ATI come in around 1.15MB/S, so the 28.8MB Cat 4.7's would take 25-26 seconds to download.

Optimum Online Cable

It's very fast for cable with close to 10Mbps down and 1Mbps up. But the rates have gone up twice in the past 3 years. It's now $50 a month.

That is damned impressive. My cable company just upped our speed to 3 meg down but the bastages took away from the upload(256) to give more download. Its ok though, 180 megs in 9 minutes is ok with me
