Below is my current set up. My question is in the title. What gpu can I run that is going to give me better visuals.

My current set up can handle games like bf4 on ultra at 1080p 60fps with little to no issues. But when I start up doom we are talking about a different beast. I have managed to get my game running at 60frames 1080p on low/medium settings with my cpu over clocked(I need to add that when I turn off vsync in game and in nvidia settings I am getting 90-100fps but the screen tears. My monitor is only 60mhz) I currently have it clocked at 4.3 and my gpu maxed but i would like to play the game on at least high/ultra because it is such a beautiful game. This is the ONLY game I have encountered problems with even games like evolve 2 with stunning graphics my set up is able to handle it with no lag.

Any help would be appreciated!!

Solution

not enough vram

also it is not a good idea to do so with an amd cpu

sell your current gpu and get either of the two above, or if where you live the gtx 1060 is similar in price get that

as it can be carried over to a new build if you ever want to upgrade for great 1080p gaming for a long time

doom ultra 1080p smaa

you are going to need either a gtx 960 or a r9 380
