What GPU can I use to upgrade my old desktop?

I have this fairly old desktop at home that runs pretty slow, and I want to upgrade it so it can run games like CS:GO and LoL. I don't know all the parts that is has (because it's in a complete different country than me right now), but from what can I remember, it has 4GBs of RAM, either an i3 or a duo, no dedicated graphics card, and I'm not really sure about the PSU or MoBo.

What GPU could I put in it? I'm not sure if a GTX 750 ti would work, but that is what I'm mainly looking at. I need a GPU that is a little bit better than just being able to run LoL and CS:GO. A cheaper one would be best though (~100$), because I don't need or even think that my system could handle some powerhouse GPU.

What about something even cheaper like a GT 730, because I'll probably want to upgrade to more RAM, and I'll probably want a better CPU in the long run. I don't really need this for serious gaming.

For budget, I would suggest the GT 730. The 2GB model would run you around 60 to 70 US dollars and you can run this on most standard power supplies. You can search this card on youtube and other sites to see the performance and whether or not it runs the games you want to play at a good frame rate.

A GT 730 should work but I advise against further upgrading that computer because it's probably a dead end. Tell me what kind of CPU you have. To find out hold the windows logo key and press the pause/break button. That should bring up the system properties window. Tell me what it says next to Processor:. For example on my laptop it says "Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7 CPU Q 720 @ 1.60GHz 1.60 GHz"
