I recently got a good chunk of money and im looking to upgrade my gpu but dont know where to start. I currently have a ga-970a-ds3p motherboard and im getting a amd fx-8350 cpu. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
 
Should be plenty and some overkill on the video card.

You will need to probably update the motherboard BIOS it's easy with the BIOS flash button.

What do you plan on using the PC for? If just gaming, then at which resolution? Any productivity or creative work loads? $3000 USD will cover most high end builds, so a lot of builds can be suggested.

Thanks a bunch, the games ive been trying to run are pushing my pc a little hard and i guess a replacement was inevitable. That seems like a good price too, thanks for the help!
