Hello, I have recently ordered a Phenom II x6 1055t cpu, and i was wondering, will my r7 240 go fine, or will i have to upgrade to a gtx 660? Thanks! btw i have an m2n68-vm with 6gbs of ddr2 800mhz.
Thanks!

if you want to upgrade your gpu then I highly recommend you to go for GTX 960, altho you have to check if you're mobo will support it. GTX 960 draws only about 120watt and is much better than the other cards suggested. Check if gpu is compatible with your motherboard.

Edit: just checked and it will work with GTX 960 since it's using PCIe so yeah, go for it :)... there are pretty good deals out there to get GTX 960 cheap and it's an awesome card and best one for your current rig. AMD gpu have higher psu consuption so if you don't have >450watt in your psu don't buy amd

I recommend R9 380 over GTX 960. It's cheaper and more fps than GTX 960 on almost every games and capable with 600w psu

Ok, so how would say Mad Max, Dying Light, GTA 5, Watch Dogs go with the r9 380 and a phenom II x6 1055t? What average fps at medium with 1280x1024?
