What GPU to choose with this build?

Hi!

Im not sure which video card to pick with my build,
the r9 280x or the GTX 780. There's a 150$ price difference,
I can spend more, but would prefer to spend that on steam
I want to play at least 2014 games on ultra with high fps and
preferrably dont want to upgrade soon.

Specs:
i5 4670k
MSI Z87-GD65 Gaming
8gb ram
600W power supply
Hyper212 Evo cooler
Seagate Barracuda 7200 2 tb
Corsair Vengeance C70 case

Also, should I get 2 1tb HDD or 1 2tb?

It really depends on your monitor resolution, for 1080P the R9 280X and GTX770 is the sweet spot. GTX780 and R9 290 really kick in when you go higher.

You can put it like this
R9 290 > GTX 780 > R9 280x.

All three of these cards will run almost all 2014 games on high ultra settings.
But I would personally prefer going for the GTX 780. NVidia has the reputation of making better cards in the high-end section.
