What graphic card my pc can support?

Hi Guys.. i'm a little nood about graphic cards . So i want a good graphic card to play games like Crysis 2, GTA4 etc.
If u can tell me what nvidia card my pc can support it would be great .

Some info about my pc(hope it's useful):
-processor
=> Intel celeron E3300, 2.50GHz
=> Socket 775LGA
-Motherboard
=> Manufacturer : ECS

Well your processor isnt very good so you can't get a really good graphics card.
Best for you would probably be anywhere inbetween a Radeon HD 6670 to a 7770 or a GTX 550 ti, but even that might induce a bottleneck.

Hey Buddy,

A couple more things:

If you are using a stock PC, you need to look at the power supply before installing a new card. You run the risk for burning up the whole PC if you overload it. Can you tell me what kind of power supply and what the specs are in your PC?

Second, I want you to be completely aware that this graphic card is not going to make new games work perfectly on your PC. It is too old for that. The upgrade will probably help, but even these $100 graphic cards are going to be slowed down by your really wimpy old celeron processor (not trying to be mean, but its true). I would recommend spending $80 or less on this card and saving the money toward your next PC.

A 500w power supply is plenty for a single low - middle end graphics card.

Your G41 chipset should technically be able to use any PCIe graphics card you can throw at it.

Someone was saying earlier that your old CPU and small RAM pool might cause a bottleneck before any videocard will. I agree, but any ~$100 video card will take you a long way with most modern titles. Especially when the highest resolution you can run is 1440 x 900. You aren't planning on running Battlefield 3 and Crysis 3 on their highest possible settings, are you?

Haha battlefield 3 should run that res medium - high
The 550 ti will run anything really, not highest settings mind you. You've also got to be aware that with the CPU and ram bottleneck you may also get a bottleneck from the PCIe compatability as a PCie-3 Card won't run as good as it could on a socket 755 motherboard with just PCIe-1

Nope.. don't need the highest settings
With the minimum settings should be fine for me

So what's the best card u can advise me to buy that best fit my PC?
