Few few variables will determine which graphics cards can fit.

Insofar the motherboard has a PCIe x16 slot, then any modern graphics card can be physically installed. The system would need to (1) have a suitable power supply to run it, and (2) the case can physically accommodate the graphics card.

I'm a little wary of prebuilt PCs, as there have been cases of locked BIOSes preventing upgrades or certain graphics cards not running on them (for whatever reason).

However, one user on the Acer forums linked this: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/12593925
At the bottom it shows that someone with, one assumes, the same motherboard using a GTX 1060. If it can be verified that someone with the same model PC (and motherboard) has successfully installed and used a particular graphics card, then I would consider that as a safe upgrade (so to speak).
