What graphics cards should I get?

I am currently building a PC, I have a Gigabyte 990FX - UD3 mobo which supports 2 way sli/crossfire. I am wondering what would be the best graphics config I could get for $600?
I have a 1000watt psu so it really doesn't matter what the power consumption is of the cards

Here are my ideas

2 x R9 280X
2 x R9 270X
1 x R9 290
2 x GTX 670

One 970, or better yet, spend a little more and SLI them if you're running 1440p or above. If you're running 1080p, a 970 is the best card you can get right now with a good price/performance ratio.

What resolution are you running?

what is your CPU and PSU? it does matter what PSU you are using as you would not want your expensive components to set on fire.

I would... but where I live (New Zealand) a GTX 970 costs $700

I don't see areason for SLI, with a gtx 970 you can run everything on ultra (anti aliasint motion blur and whatever you want) if you are looking to spend some money, than get a proper cpu (intel) and pair it with a solid MB. if you don't already have 8ram, get 4x2 or if you are not planning to upgrade in future, get 4x 2gb, instead of spanting your money on two 970, upgrade your system.
also where did you get that PSU? if you ever decide building new system you should get a proper PSU. (corsair antec cooler master, golden tiger...)

Can you buy from the U.S. and have it shipped there? I've seen many other people do it.

You do realize that FSP is a oem which makes PSU's for other companies..... and I have 16GB of RAM and the FX 8350 is fine

intel makes motherboards too, but I haven't seen anyone buying them lately... anyway if you feel safe, then all is matters.
