Who make your board or PC? That is where you look for the newest drivers. Getting them anywhere else may not be able to run with your system.

Unfortunataly this sisite died not work it only had drivers for windows 7 while i an running windows 8.1

You can try the intel site to see if they may have any driver available for 8.1 but HP only shows it available for 7 and below as you stated. If intel doesn't have the driver then you may have to contact HP support to see what they suggest.
