I'm building my first gaming pc this month. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/LdR2hq +Seasonic S12II-520 F3, Samsung 850 EVO 250GB. The Zotac GeForce GTX 1060 Mini 6GB is the cheapest 6gb version costing 260 euros. Then there are 2 other gpus that cost 280 euros - EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB and Gainward GeForce GTX 1060 6GB. What's the best gpu of those 3? Is it worth spending 20 more euros buying a more expensive one? I plan to overclock the gpu. https://www.zotac.com/us/product/graphics_card/zotac-geforce-gtx-1060-mini

Minis are slightly slower, not by much but they are about 70-100mhz difference depending on manufacture.

I recently just looked into overlooking my 1070 and here's what I found, with stock Nvidia GPU boost mine went up to 2000mhz under load and what overclockers were getting was maybe 2100 at most before stability went to hell. So from what I gathered overclocking GPUs for most is somewhat unnecessary unless you care about squeezing out every last drop.

I think if you have a power problem and need to buy a new PSU and dont have the budget for that get the mini, if not then get the full size.

I know I can fit a bigger gpu in that case but the 2 fan gpus are too expensive since I'm on a budget.

Mini are not slower but it is correct that better cooling can help OC. Really between the cards there is very small fps difference and all will play the same games on the same settings so really just a matter of which one you want to spend your money on.

There is also this gpu for 285 euros - Palit GeForce GTX 1060 DUAL, MSI GeForce GTX 1060 ARMOR 6G V1 for 290 euros or GeForce® GTX 1060 WINDFORCE OC 6G for 295 euros. Is it worth spending more money on them?

But now when I think of it is it even worth overclocking the gpu? How much performance increase will I see? I just want to play games like gta 5 1080p high or very high settings 60 fps.
