What happens if I put glue on my CPU?

What would happen if I accidentally put glue on my CPU instead of thermal paste

Your CPU will overheat, the glue will melt, it will stick and leak inside your motherboard and fry your parts, including your CPU.

As Scott said above. Also if you seated your heatsink to it, it's not coming off.

Depending on the specific type of glue, either:
It melts and kills many other things
or
Superglue, and it will not come off without a lot of work and probably killing some things

Your CPU will overheat, then the heat will melt the glue, then the glue will kill some of the nearest small components, then you will fry your motherboard and maybe the rest of the computer, then you have no computer left
