Hi,
I want to know what happens if i turned on my mobo without putting a cpu in before, can it post, can i enter bios or even update it??
please answer me because i am doing a build and i am just worried how to update bios because i am using b360m-a mobo with an i3 9100f, i was told that you need to put a cpu that is supported OUT OF THE BOX and then update the bios and AGAIN remove the old cpu and put the original one(the i3 9100f) so please help me
thanks,

No, it will not post, you will not be able to update the BIOS, etc. The motherboard may come with a recent enough BIOS to support your CPU, but if not you'd need an 8th gen CPU in order to update it. Or see if a local computer shop will do it for you.
