Solution

RAM and storage can cause crashes because they can cause corrupted data.
You can get crashes accessing graphics and network interfaces, but this is usually just bad drivers.
All of these things usually result in a windows crash rather than just an application crash.
Parts like a power supply or case couldn't possibly cause an application crash.
First crash is svchost.
svchost is Windows way of running dlls. fntcache.dll is also part of Windows.
Second is explorer.exe, which is part of windows allowing you to browse the file system, copy files and run your desktop and task bar.
Third crash is vlc.exe, your media player.

Occasional crashes are normal.
If it keeps happening, download memtest86+ and run it on a bootable CD to test your RAM.

Thank you both for the info. I have a ssd, is it ok to chdsk that? Also, I have been losing power in the house a couple times. I did memtest for a couple passes and saw no errors. I plan to do it overnight. I just replaced the power supply so I know it's not that. I have had this error for awhile but I've tried to reformat it away to no avail so I don't have more errors. This is the latest one...

The vlc error maybe a bug in it. Other users have reported that the 64 bit version crashes when you exit it

The last MSI error install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86)
and Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable Package (x86) from the ms site. Thats a Visual C++ error

No problem with chdsk on SSDs! If memtest shows no errors, it's most likely a damaged file system

These are just faulting applications in Windows right, not the blue screen of death?
If so, this is more than likely software rather than hardware.
Check that all your drivers are up to date and you are running the latest versions of the programs that are crashing.

The programs are crashing not the computer. No the programs will be crashing because theyre looking for something thats not on the system. Install the files I posted and see if that fixes it. Not because of hardware.

If it were the hardware, you'll have bigger probs. Not just programs crashing
