I would like to add a Dual or Four Port Intel Gigabit PCI-e x16 ethernet card to my HP Slimline Desktop - 410-01. My plan is to convert this into a Pfsense Router/Firewall, etc. Pfsense is much more reliable with Intel Network Cards. I would also need to disable the onboard RealTek Ethernet adapter.

I would greatly appreciate any recommendations and credible sources (want to avoid the fake cards out there).

TIA

Solution
I'd suggest a used i350, i340, or pro/1000 intel nic pulled from an OEM server . Here's a reference of what the OEM part numbers would be.
