Only scraping 12K? Man I OC'ed my HD2900Pro 1GB to 800MHz GPU and 2200MHz memory and almost hit 12500. I wounder if I could hit 13K if I push my Q6600 a bit further.....

Same processer @ the same speed as the author of the post I was commenting on. Don't get me wrong, you score is nice. I'd love to see what it would be like with 2. I'm seconds away from buying 2 and finding out.

How I know what Q6600 SLI GT scores are:

I have the P7N Platinum that scored 17,550 and the ASUS P5N-D that scored this http://service.futuremark.com/compare?3dm06=5437796

The MSI was faster at 3.2GHZ with a Q6600. Same 2 1GB sticks of RAM and the same 2 8800GT Stock clocked video cards.

These budget SLI boards are very finicky. Next is the 780i board :sol:

13996 which i plan on getting to 14000.

Score was achieved with the specs in my sig.

RAM is running at 766mhz so once i oc the ram to about 850 i'm hoping it'll get me those 4 points. lol.

BTW this is default settings on 3DMark06 running on Vista 64bit

Also i don't think i've seen anyone with this this high of a score on vista with this gfx card yet. OC and optimize away, lets see someone beat it :)

EDIT: Woot just got this. It was a quick bench before i OC the ram...turn out unsyncing my ram to up it to 850 yielded a performance loss.

Well My Phenom 9600 BE @ 2.475, 4 GB @ 860MHz, and 8800GT SC @ SSC speeds gets about 11700 in XP.

So, based on the fact that it plays Crysis in DX9 on all high/some max w/4X AA no stutters I'd say this is a good score.

My Friend's 5600+ @3.2 and hevily OCed 8600GT score nearly 7k (with 6 gigs of ram) and he runs crysis fine on med/high @1440X900 with no stutters.

So based on that I would say 7000+ is a good 3DMark06 score.

My HD3870 with E6550 score around 10800~10900 and HD3870 with E2220 score around 10620 ~ 10730. I see the highest 3DMark 06 score in the database is still the old one on end of March which is around 32,xxx; that is around triple of my score

Hello All,
I just ran a 17395!! Here's a breakdown of my system:

Mainboard: EVGA 680i with P33 bios (the NF68-AR) board
Q6600 @3600MHZ (lowered multiplier to 8 and upped fsb @ 450)
2x EVGA 8800GTS 512 G92 oc'd to 725/1890/1203 in SLI and PhysX enabled, Driver is 180.48
OCZ PC8500 5-5-5-15-2T 2.1V 5:4 ratio to run as close to stock as possible :)
Antec 850 PSU Antec 900 Gamer Case 1-200mm fan and 5-120mm fans (yes its LOUD) lol
CPU Cooler is an Iceberg 7 ???
2x Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 500GB in Raid-0 for 1TB total
I run XP Pro SP3, I have trouble running Vista64 and I cannot figure out why, I have another 2Gb ram
to run with it but it crashes ALL the time, even with SP1. Any ideas on why?

OK, first of all, a 17395, while nice, is nothing incredible. I get a 22k or so with my 4870x2 and core i7 @ 3.73. Still, it's a nice score, and that is a nice setup :)

Second, what exactly is the error when it crashes in Vista? If it bluescreens, what is the stop code?
