So I have an evga gtx 970 with acx 2.0 cooling. I got it for $120 around Christmas time. What would be a good price I can either sell it at on ebay or craigslist? I don't want to rip someone off at all considering I got it for kinda cheap.

Solution
Where in the world are you getting your video cards is the real question (send in a private message so we can keep it a secret XD )

for a 970 you should be able to get at least $200, maybe up to $230 if youre lucky.

A 980ti generally is ranked as slightly a better card than a GTX 1070. That being said you are still buying a used card and a older card which hold some risks. (I'm actually suprised, I just looked on ebay for 980ti's and they are dropping to around $300 which is amazing)

As for another question. Would you recommend getting a gtx 980 ti for around $300 or a 1070 although the 1070 would be more expensive?

You are not ripping someone off if selling a card for what it is worth, and the fact that you got a very good deal on should not be 'overly relevant' in it's selling price...get what it is worth, minus $10-$20 if eager to make the sale.

AMazon lists GTX970's for $253 and up....sell it for $220-230, etc...

I got it on craigslist, I was just very lucky.

Why don't you pay it forward? You got it inexpensive, so sell it inexpensive; $150, maybe $175, and you're still making money.

My two cents. Good luck.
