I already overclocked my cpu to 4.6 ghz but im not sure if the voltage will be enough to push to 4.8ghz? The current cpu voltage is at 1.320

As idle temps can never be below ambient, the room is below 15 degrees, which is pretty cold. So unless you want to be cold while playing games, you should not use this as reference.

Wow, those are amazing temps! I dunno if its my cooler or a so so quality cpu or my thermal pasting needs to be redone, but so far in my many years making gaming rigs for myself i've never really messed up with the cpu cooler mounting. I'm at 1.250v with an H80i V2(the stacked fat radiator) and getting idle temps averaging around 48C and gaming averaging 65C. Full load i'll hit 90, especially when encoding videos. Its wierd, I have a 1080ti with installed water cooler and it idles at 28C and wont hit above 50C when its OCd pretty high. Usually my gpu temps are twice that of my cpu.. My devils canyone i7 has the same cpu cooler and oc'd at 4.8ghz and gets about 65C on full load. I cant figure out this one. Might have to remount, repaste and cross my fingers.

Mine were about the same as yours in the idle condition. My problem was my fans for my cpu radiator were not running at proper speeds because i didnt install software for cpu cooler. Now i set to run at performance speed and my idle temps are ranging from the high 30s to low 40s. Gaming under full load about 65C to 72C which is normal.
