Let us know what applications you need a discrete GPU for (as opposed to continuing to use the integrated GPU) and we can advise further.

Also let us know what power supply you’re currently using.

If you're not doing any intensive work, your relatively modern CPU's onboard graphics should be plenty to run your monitor and daily tasks. If you're seeing problems that you know are related to your lack of graphics performance, there are some things you need to consider, like your budget and power supply constraints. If you want something really basic you could try the RX 560 or a GTX 1050. These cards are very inexpensive nowadays and have low power consumption.

You don’t really need another GPU for these kinds of applications. Unless you’re planning on using more monitors than what your motherboard can drive. Is that why you’re seeking advice?

Edit. For driving up to 3 screens in 2D-only applications:

AMD Radeon Pro WX2100
Nvidia T400

I’ve provided Scorptec links because it sounds like you’re in Australia. Both under AUD$270.

No was just thinking (a first for me) that with Optus 50mps might need a GCU and a cheap card might be helpful eg $200 - $300.

Intel UHD 730 is pretty darned good for watching videos. It can hardware decode H.264, H.265, VP9 and even AV1 (for Youtube and Netflix, which neither RX 560 nor GTX 1050 can do, so with those AV1 would have to be decoded in software using the CPU) in 4k.

For that kind of use it would make more sense to upgrade from your 6 P-core CPU to a 13th or 14th gen i7 or i9 with 33% more P cores at much higher clocks. Those all come with UHD 770 too, which is like the 730 plus 33% more resources.
