What is AMS Server and AMS Renderer

My computer name shows up under networking as "Computername" (AMS Server) and also as "Computername" (AMS Renderer). I have no idea what that means or where it came from. I have tried googling it, asking Microsoft Forums, and have found no information. So, I am trying this forum to see if anyone can help me figure this out.
