What is best alternative for Outlook 2003 on Windows 7? . Looking for options which are free since MS Outlook 2003 is going out of support this year 2014.

Am facing problem with thunderbird configuration. Operamail, seamonkey are working fine. Which is best for IMAP. ?


Need solution to tackle the issue of limited web storage, but good local storage capacity. That is , I need to download all mail to local , then delete the mail in server , very regularly.

You might want to look at "Five top alternatives to Microsoft Outlook". I have used eM Client and liked it. The only reason I stopped using it was the reinstallation of Office but with the support ending for Outlook 2003 I will probably go back to it.

But I wonder what Outlook 2003 services you need - you wrote that you needed a POP-based mail system (where you connect in, retrieve all email from some server, and store it on your one PC).

Do you use the calendaring/reminder system on Outlook?
