What is best gpu for e5300

As the title says which is best graphics card for pentium dual core E5300.
my current specs:

processor: pentium dual core e5300 @2.6 ghz over locked to @ 3.1ghz
ram: 1gb
mobo: asusp5kpl-am in/gb
hard drive: 80 GB
nvidia or amd whatever is max for my processor.

Depends on budget and power supply. Not only do you need a GPU, you need more ram. 1gb is abysmally low, as is the 80gb hdd.

Irrespective of power supply,the best you can do with an e5300 is amd radeon 7750.But if you overclock that cpu above 3ghz then you could get Nvidia Gtx 750.These are very low power gpu that can run off low wattage PSU's.

The CPU will bottleneck the GPU, but that is fine as it can be reused later when you upgrade to a better system.
