So almost a year ago from today i finished what i thought to be my magnum opus of a pc. But it has a really rough time dealing with newer games. In new games like battlefield 1 It runs at 720p on high and the game during cutscenes looks muddier than a ps2 game and it also runs at slower frams and skips a whole lot. So I ran GPU-Z to see what kind of clocks i am getting on it and they were extremely under the average clock that other users of my card got. I thought it was because of the PCIE port on my motherboard was a little out dated but i just figured out that they're both rated for PCIE 3.0 x16. For a glance, my pc has a quad core AMD cpu running at 3.7 GHz, 16gb of DDR3 Ram and a GTX 970 with 4 gb of video ram. The only thing i could think of is maybe not enough power but some help here would be GREATLY apperciated, thanks.
