I Downloaded a driver update today and it is downloading infinitely (its downloading even after 100%.). images for reference . i currently am having a custom built pc with a gigabite GeForce gtx1650 and an i5-9400f . paierd on an msi h310m pro vdh plus and 16gb corsair vengeance ddr4 ram

Just the app glitching out probably; close it out and try it again.
Also GeForce Experience isn't required, you can just download standalone driver from Nvidia.

ok i jus freaked out seeing an infinte download it downlaoded till 235% THEN I STOPPED IT NOW I CANT PRESS DOWNLOAD BUTTON AGAIN APP NOT LETTING ME DO IT

I'd just kill the app in task manager, reboot / try again.

If you don't want to deal w the app anymore you can just uninstall it too.
The display drivers are available from Nvidia directly, GFE isn't required for it.

I don't use GeForce Experience or that PhysX nonsense either. I don't mind manually downloading the newer drivers from time to time. For the most part if it isn't giving any issues, I just leave it alone.

If it works, don't touch it. If you can fix it, try. Those are my 2 main sentences that I use in PC building. If the driver works then just update it when it is needed, if no, keep it as/is. OP can do whatever he wants since it his option but I'd keep everything the same, and just not update it.
